I love that so many people choose Nashville for their destination wedding! Tom and Sharon live in Manhattan and chose to come to Nashville for their wedding. They are both the sweetest people, and I loved spending the day with them.
They prepped in the rooms below Benton Chapel, located on Vanderbilt Campus. Although the weather was chilly, they decided to continue with the plan for outdoor photos (Nashville is probably warm compared to NYC this time of year haha!) and we headed up to the courtyard to do a first look. After a few minutes alone, family and friends joined them for some group photos around the entrance to Benton Chapel. I loved the timeless, regal colors they chose for their day. The bridesmaids were dressed in deep blue dresses, the flower girls in a beautiful powder blue, and the groomsmen in varied jewel tone jackets.
Their parent’s minister presided over a very sweet ceremony and I loved that as a first act of a married couple Sharon and Tom chose to share communion with their family and friends.
After the ceremony, we headed downtown to City Club where guests enjoyed a very upscale evening of food and dancing surrounded by the night lights of Nashville!
