Gosh what a great day. Nick and I had been coordinating for a month or so as he planned his proposal to his girlfriend Brittany! They came to Nashville with a group of close friends to visit. After brunch downtown, they headed to Arrington Vineyards where her family had secretly gathered to celebrate after the proposal (Brittany had no idea they were there!)
I tried to be as incognito as possible by sitting at a picnic table with my laptop and phone, but being that it was a windy colder day in Nashville I was the ONLY one sitting outside haha. Luckily, Brittany did not pay much attention to me as Nick and their friends headed down the hill to the vineyards. As they walked down, her family quietly followed a few yards behind. I was SURE she was going to turn around and see them (or see me pull out a giant camera and lens!) but their friends did a great job of keeping her distracted. Nick pulled out a ring and a bottle of wine. He got down on one knee with the vineyards and friends surrounding them and all of her family standing behind her. She said YES, turned around and all of her family went nuts. Lots of tears and smiles followed. What a great moment to document. Thanks Nick and Brittany for letting me be a part of your story! Congratulations!!!
