This couple was so much fun!!! Tom and Kate tied the knot at Cedarwood Estate in Nashville, TN. Cedarwood is a luxury wedding venue known for high end, artistically designed weddings. We always love working here! When you enter the grounds, you first come upon a beautiful antebellum mansion dating back from 1835 with a huge front porch. Kate and the bridesmaids prepped upstairs in the mansion’s bridal suite, and we adored Kate’s slim dress with the long cathedral length veil. The groom, Tom is an officer with the Nashville Police Department. Him and his groomsmen (and an uncle who was a NY homicide detective!) prepped in the grooms cottage and they were a lot of fun!
Kate and Tom did a private first look in the back of the property, where a cedar tree house overlooks a beautiful pond. We did a few bride and groom photos in the treehouse, and then joined up with their bridal party! I loved the cheerful bright hues Kate chose for her dresses and decor, it was perfect for a late summer wedding. After doing photos in the field, by the garden house, and by the swing, everyone headed inside to cool off and freshen up for the wedding ceremony.
Kate and Tom said their vows surrounded by their friends and family in the grassy meadow. At the end of the ceremony, they celebrated with a shot! It was a funny moment and everyone had a good laugh.
Cedarwood is known for having a world class design team, and this wedding was no different! We adored the candle lit farm style tables, with overflowing florals and greenery. The small butcher boards were a fun addition to the tables!
Kate and Tom’s friends and family were SOOO much fun!! They definitely did not disappoint on the dance floor, lol. And how beautiful is this cake?!!
