When I heard Christie and David’s wedding was going to be in a sinkhole, I was a little perplexed. Was this going to be photogenic? Would the sinkhole give way and fall into the center of the earth while everyone was standing in it? I have to admit, I’ve never photographed an event in a sinkhole before, LOL.
After pondering it for a few minutes though, I knew it would be an event to remember. I have worked with Christie’s family before, and they are some of the classiest folks you will meet. I had no doubt that they would turn this event into a beautiful and amazing day.
When I arrived and walked up the drive, I immediately saw why they decided to have the ceremony here. The landscape was very plush and almost rainforest-like, with all of the rich greenery and big trees. The sinkhole was even more beautiful than I could have imagined, it was decorated with hundreds of flowers and surrounded by chairs for everyone to see. It was breathtaking!
Christie and Dave were SO much fun to work with, as were their friends and family. We had a great day despite the weather being a little iffy. Christie is a classic beauty, and her new hubby isn’t ugly either by any means 🙂 🙂 so it made taking pictures of them very easy. Their crew was HILARIOUS and kept me laughing all night long!
