I had so much fun working with Tracie and Jason for their wedding at Two Rivers Mansion in Nashville, TN! I have a soft spot for historic estates, and Two Rivers Mansion is a hidden gem that I absolutely love.
Here is the history of Two Rivers Mansion: “One of the last of the elaborate antebellum country homes built in the Nashville area and one of the earliest and best preserved of the ornate Italianate houses in Middle Tennessee, was once part of an 1100 acre plantation located on fertile, rolling land between the Stones and Cumberland rivers. The mansion was built by David McGavock in 1859 on the eve of the Civil War for his beautiful bride,William (Willie) Elizabeth Harding.”
This estate is so romantic! Everything about it is grand: the soaring ceilings and windows, the beautiful lawns and circular boxwood gardens, to the wrap around porches. Combine the gorgeous property with a beautiful couple and wedding, and you really can’t get much prettier!
Tracie and Jason were so fun to work with. They were very laid back and truly enjoyed their day. They both work for NASA, and I adored how they incorporated little NASA details into their decor. Galaxy themed programs, cakes, and quilts were such a fun twist! My favorite part: they brought their dog Laika (named after the Russian space dog) to join in the celebration. After a first look in the boxwood gardens, Jason and Tracie said their vows on the front porch of the mansion in front of family and friends. After the ceremony, they treated their guests to a tasty Southern dinner and dancing on the open air porches.
Tracie and Jason, thank you for letting me be a part of your wedding day! I loved working with you! – Krista
