This wedding is near and dear to my heart! Many of your know that I grew up riding horses in the suburbs of Chicago. Like most of us who grew up riding, I spent every waking moment riding, showing, practicing. I had a whole crew of “horse friends” who were near and dear to me, and whom I’ve missed since I moved to Tennessee! Morgan also grew up riding, in the suburbs of Chicago. Although we didn’t know each other directly, we had a lot of friends in common. When she hired me to photograph her wedding, I was so excited! And I soon realized some of our friends in common would be attending- icing on the cake 🙂 It was almost like she was family from the get-go 🙂
Morgan and Ross chose Owen Farms in Chapmansboro, TN to tie the knot. This is one of our favorite farm venues! Not only are the views from the ceremony site breathtaking, it’s a family owned farm and has so much southern charm and character. Morgan and Ross got ready separately, then met for a private moment before they started photos. It was lightly raining, but they were both troopers and didn’t let that put a damper on their day 🙂 🙂 We absolutely LOVED how they included the entire “family” – horse, dogs, and all in their photos!!! <3
Morgan and Ross, thank you for letting us be a part of your story! We loved spending the day with you and hope you love your photos 🙂 🙂
