Oh my goodness these two!! Hillary and Ben had the prettiest evening wedding and reception at White Dove Barn in Beechgrove, TN.
White Dove Barn is so elegant, and is a perfect representation of what I would call “upscale country chic”. Their whitewashed modern barn overlooks the rolling hills of the Tennessee country side. The indoor space is lovely, with beautiful furniture and elegant chandeliers and candles everywhere. Ben and Hillary were both super laid back and fun! Even though the weather didn’t cooperate like we hoped, they still had an amazing wedding day. The both prepped separately, and then were going to do a first look before the ceremony. Ben’s brother thought it would be fun to prank him by dressing up in a gown and doing the first look without Hillary. I have to say, it was one of the funniest pranks I’ve seen on a wedding day! Everyone had a great laugh when Ben turned around to see his… ahem…. not quite so beautiful bride standing behind him.
After the fake first look, we finally brought Hillary out. She looked much more beautiful than the first “bride” hahahaha.
It was raining off and on all day, and when Hillary came out it had stopped raining so we attempted to do some photos outside. They had exactly 54 seconds of photos before the rain started coming down again, and we heading inside. But hey, at least we got a few, right?
Their wedding ceremony was under the covered pavilion overlooking the lake. After heartfelt vows, they did a few more photos and then headed to their reception where they had a fun night of dancing and mingling.
Hillary and Ben, thank you for letting me be a part of your beautiful wedding day. I enjoyed getting to know you both and wish you lifetime of happiness!
Hugs!
Krista
