We adored working with Jake and Lauren for their wedding last weekend at Double Creek Farm in Culleoka, Tennessee! This was my first time out to this gorgeous little farm, and it did not disappoint. The shabby chic barn was beautifully setup with rustic tables and gorgeous table settings. The ceremony site is nestled in a quiet cove, down by the creek and we loved the back outdoor patio, complete with a fireplace and string lights.
Lauren and Jake are the sweetest couple, they’re both down to earth, and genuinely nice people! Lauren got ready at her home nearby with her girls, and then we all headed over to Double Creek. Jake and his friends got ready at the cabin just behind the barn. The weather didn’t want to cooperate last Saturday, and really gave us a run for our money. It kept raining on and off ALL day. Ugh! After some back and forth, Lauren decided it was best to move the ceremony indoors. Luckily, the indoor space is beautiful and was a perfect backdrop for their vows.
They did a first look in the bridal suite, followed by some quick photos outdoors. Their ceremony was beautiful and was followed by a super delicious dinner. Their guests enjoyed food, drinks, and dancing at the reception and everyone had a blast! We especially loved how fun their guests were – they danced and sang and had a big time!
After a really fun night of festivities, Jake’s family set off fireworks for an epic exit!
