This wedding was one for the books! This was our first wedding out at Homestead Manor, and we absolutely adored every inch of it. Chris and McKinley are the sweetest couple, and we loved spending the day with them!
McKinley is a huge Harry Potter fan, and envisioned her wedding taking place in a similar type of setting. The great hall of Hogwart’s is strikingly similar to the interior of Scarritt Bennett in Nashville. Medieval, magical, and awe inspiring, Scarritt was the perfect backdrop for their wedding!
After getting ready with her girls in the cozy bridal suite at Homestead Manor, McKinley traveled to Scarritt to finish getting ready and prepare for the ceremony. Surrounded by friends and family, McKinley and her dad walked down the stately aisle of Scarritt, and met Chris for a beautiful wedding ceremony led by her uncle. We loved how when the doors opened for M’s entrance, her wedding planner arranged for a spotlight with a beautiful warm glow to appear to highlight their entrance!
After the ceremony, McKinley and Chris headed back to Homestead Manor where they enjoyed an al fresco evening reception in the open air barn. Such a beautiful evening!
McKinley and Chris, thank you so much for letting us spend the day with you! Congrats and we hope you’re having an amazing time on your honeymoon! 🙂
