I just love my Columbia girls. I was SO excited when I got an email from Lauren saying she was tying the knot this June! I had photographed her cousin Allison’s gorgeous wedding last year and just loved spending the day with their family.
I cannot even tell you how picture perfect their day was. Their wedding was straight out of a dream… Every. Last. Detail. was PERFECT! And you want to know what made it even more amazing?? Pretty much everything at the wedding was a DIY project that they did themselves. Can you believe that? They cleared out the old barn on the property, filled it with gorgeous country-shabbic chic details, and had Darryl (our favorite florist!) deck it out with fresh flowers. When I asked if they rented any of the furniture, etc they said, “Nope, this is pretty much all ours!!” HAHAHAHA! I have seen brides spend years hunting down decor like this or spend thousands renting it, but these two had it all in the family… LOL! Love it.
I had the WORST migraine this day, and I was so worried somehow the photos would reflect my medicine head… but these may be some of my favorite photos of all time. I do apologize to all of you for my fogginess from taking so many meds!
