I had so much fun spending the day with Chelsea and Jason last Saturday for their wedding in Franklin, TN. They chose to get married at historic McConnell House, which was the oldest jail in Williamson County. This was my first wedding at McConnell House and I loved the architecture and the throwbacks to the building’s early days! Bars and jail enclosures were still intact in some areas. I also absolutely adored the vintage feel it had, reminded me of a 1920’s style speakeasy with an upscale vibe.
The more time you spend with Chelsea and Jason, the more you like them. They both are the sweetest most genuine people, and you could see the bond they had as they interacted with each other throughout the day. After a private first look in the front room, we went to several locations inside the house and outside for photos. Somehow, they were blessed with 60 degree weather in February so we were able to go outside without freezing to death! The formal photos were made complete when Nana Eloise photobombed some of the bride and groom photos, LOL! <3
Chelsea and Jason said their vows at the top of the vintage stairs underneath an arched draped doorway, with friends and family surrounding them. After cutting the cake and some heartfelt toasts, they enjoyed dinner and dancing upstairs with their guests.
Chelsea + Jason, thank you so much for letting me be a part of your wedding day! You both are so much fun and I wish you the best! <3 <3
