Nick and Denise hands down had the most BEAUTIFUL day last weekend out at Lilac Farms! I adore Indian ceremonies. From the jewels, to the bright colors and ornate flowers. It was a feast for the eyes. Laurie of Laurie Deann Events pulled together all of the bright patterns and details into a perfectly designed day for Nick and Denise.
Denise got ready in the bridal suite at Lilac Farms, where her makeup artist carefully placed all of the shimmering jewels on her forehead. Then her mom and friends helped her get dressed. Nick and the guys got ready and relaxed in the cabin on the grounds of Lilac Farms.
The weather was very unpredictable on their wedding day. It rained, then it stopped, then it rained again…. on and on throughout the day. We were a little concerned that we would not have a chance to do any outdoor photos (which would be a shame given the gorgeous vineyards and landscape!) But the rain cleared long enough to let us do all of their formal photos outside, yay!
They had a private moment before the ceremony where they met under the huge tree that sits on the property. Their families joined them shortly thereafter to do photos.
The ceremony and mandap were beautiful! Flowers strung with invisible string accented the gorgeous setup, and we loved the ornate flower stencils going down the aisle.
The reception was beautiful. Paper lanterns, rich colored linens, and gold accents decorated the tables and tents, and the vintage wooden barn also had string lights and richly colored decor.
Nick and Denise, we loved spending the day with you all! It was so beautiful and y’all are so sweet. Congratulations!!!
