This is one of our last weddings for the 2017 season, and I have to say… Mike and Meghan finished out our wedding season with a bang! These two had a beautiful, upscale and modern wedding celebration at Ruby, in the Hillsboro area of downtown Nashville. They had a perfect fall day, with sunshine and crisp weather. After prepping separately, they did a first look next door at Dragon Park, under a canopy of lovely trees and light winds. Dragon Park is currently under major construction, so funny side note– it was a bit challenging to find a peaceful corner with no construction/cars/people/playgrounds in the background. We finally managed to find the perfect spot for a quiet intimate first look, when almost immediately several groups came over to our exact spot (out of the ENTIRE park) and started playing instruments and filming, being extremely loud. Personal space, people! LOL. It all worked out, but needless to say we got a good laugh out of the situation. 😉
The metallic accents and blush/ivory colors they chose made a perfect palette for a beautiful wedding day. Ruby always is such a gorgeous venue as well, between the modern architecture, the stylish seating and candlelit accents, guests were wowed by the setting. We loved how M+M chose to have Mike’s girls play such a big role in the wedding. They were adorable, and did such a great job being flower girls. We also loved how they threw flower petals in the air as Mike and Meghan did their first kiss after their ceremony. So cute!
Mike and Meghan, thank you for allowing us to be a part of your wedding day! We loved spending the day with you. Congrats! 🙂
