Jacklyn’s mom wanted to do a fun themed shoot with her, as most of our shoots with her in the past have been specific to how old she’s been (i.e. 1 year old, 2 years old, etc.). When she told me about her idea, I was SO excited to try it! Glitter and ballet are perfect representations of being a young girl… And I knew this would be so fun to base an entire session on them!
All of that being said, I am IN LOVE with how this session turned out. I thought about using some different backgrounds to jazz up the photos a bit. I thought about spicing them up with some post-production filters. I thought about photoshopping some of the glitter off of her dress and floor. But the more I altered them, the more I just wanted to leave them alone.
Sometimes, you just can’t beat simple, pure, and sparkling.
