These two… Could they possibly be any more photogenic and gorgeous?! Wesley and Courtney tied the knot this May at Riverwood Mansion here in Nashville, Tennessee. When you have a spring wedding in the South, you never know quite what you’ll get…. Rain, wind, hot + humid temps, tornadoes, or a mix of all. Courtney and Wesley were blessed with a partly cloudy, warm May day for their outdoor wedding, and it couldn’t have been prettier!
Courtney prepped with her family and girls upstairs in the historic home, while Wesley and the guys hung out downstairs. Courtney did a first look with her bridesmaids and then had a sentimental moment with dad, before going out to start photos. She and Wesley chose not to see each other before the ceremony, so we took them separately outside for photos. (The boys may or may not have been crammed into the bathroom for a bit (LOL) so they wouldn’t accidentally see Courtney before the ceremony. They were great sports about it, and I hear the air conditioning in the bathroom is fabulous. Haha!)
After finishing photos out under the giant trees in the lawn, everyone headed inside to cool off and prep for the ceremony.
Wesley’s grandfather officiated the ceremony, and with heartfelt words brought almost everyone to tears with his amazing stories and words. Under historic trees and surrounded by their friends and family, they said their vows to each other and exchanged rings. After family and bridal party photos were finished, they headed to their reception where everyone had a great time dancing and eating.
Courtney and Wesley, thank you for letting us be a part of your wedding day! We were honored to share it with you, and wish you both the best! Hope you love your preview 🙂 🙂
