I just love this couple!! Abby has been following my blog for years and I was so so flattered when she contacted me about shooting her wedding. She is just the sweetest, and I have just absolutely loved working with her and now hubby Tim! They tied the knot at First Lutheran Church downtown Nashville and followed the ceremony with a shabby-chic, super classy reception at one of my favorite venues, Belle Meade Plantation.
The weather for their day was definitely challenging, there were storm clouds looming every time we looked out the windows. Abby really had her heart set on some outdoor photos, and she made the CUTEST little sign to ward the rain off. How adorable is that sign?? Throughout the day it rained off an on (rain is good luck, right?!!) but she was such a trooper, determined to get great photos she marched outside with her translucent umbrella and a huge smile on her face. We were able to get AMAZING pics of everyone and I just loved how everything turned out despite the rain!
Abby and Tim didn’t want to see each other before hand, but we did do a sweet moment where they snuck around the corner from each other and held hands. This bunch was a super emotional crowd, and that moment started the tears flowing! I even teared up!!! And the tears didn’t stop from there on out… We’re talking Abby, Tim, moms, friends, family, EVERYONE there was crying!!!! HA HA HA! It was so sweet, you could really feel the love.
